About the role
At the heart of production, you play a key role between engineering and the shop floor.
We are looking for a rigorous and structured Methods Agent, capable of developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance in machining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing methods for machined parts.
- Define routing processes, workflows, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Analyze technical drawings and determine the most effective manufacturing strategies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (cost, quality, delivery).
- Support production during new product introductions and technical adjustments.
- Ensure methods comply with internal standards and customer requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and manufacturing records.
- Apply safety, quality, and internal procedures at all times.
- Perform all other related duties.

Requirements:
- College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a methods role or related position.
- Experience in machining, structural assembly, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes in a production environment (asset).
Salary: Starting at $70,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Status: Permanent
