Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines. Fabricate or fit parts to make watches and clocks. Instruct apprentices. Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks. Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements. Insert battery contents into casing. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Estimate repair costs. Organize and maintain inventory. Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate and test equipment. Equipment and machinery experience: Polishers. Drill presses. Area of work experience: Clock assembling. Watch assembling.
