About the Role Work for a proudly Canadian company that has been servicing clients for over 30 years. BCS INC. is looking for a motivated Passivation Technician to join our growing team and build a hands-on career in chemical treatment services.
The candidate will support clients across industries such as Biopharmaceutical, Nuclear Power, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, Healthcare, and Manufacturing, gaining real-world experience working on critical process systems.
The chosen candidate for this position will start as a Service Technician and complete a 3-month structured training program covering services such as Passivation, Derouging, Biofilm Mitigation, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Electropolishing, and more. Following training, there are opportunities to grow into Quality Assurance, Project Management, Technical Service, or Manufacturing roles, based on performance, strengths, and interest.
What You’ll Do Learn and understand BCS Quality Management System Perform Chemical treatment and cleaning services on stainless steel systems Read blueprints, P&IDs and follow written procedures and protocols Complete job documentation and communicate via mobile phone (email, reports, photos) Follow quality, safety, and audit-compliant processes Work collaboratively with a small, skilled team Travel throughout GTA to clients facilities with potential to travel nationally throughout Canada.
Important Work Environment Information Employees are trained in the safe use and handling of industrial chemicals All work is performed following strict safety and quality standards Mechanical labor or hands-on technical experience Comfortable using a smartphone for documentation and email Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
Nice to Have (Assets): Working at Heights certification Confined Space training WHMIS or other industrial safety training Experience with quality systems Previous experience working in regulated or clean environments (pharma, food & beverage, healthcare, nuclear, etc.) Bilingual (English/French)
