Our Ideal Candidate

As a Geomatics Technician, you will support survey and engineering projects by processing data, performing calculations, and assisting with deliverables. You are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working both independently and with a team.

A Day in the Life

• Draft survey plans and perform calculations using Civil 3D
• Perform survey calculations for foundations, roadworks, and grading projects, including alignment, profile, and corridor analysis to support construction layout and execution
• Generate surfaces and volume calculations
• Process and interpret different type of survey data using Trimble Business Center
• Perform quality control checks on field returns
• Assist field crews and prepare reports (stakeout, as-builts)
• Support UAV / LiDAR data processing as needed 
• Support engineering layout and construction surveys

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant survey/geomatics experience
• Experience with Trimble Business Centre (TBC)
• Proficiency in Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of construction survey practices
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
