Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Odours. Dusty. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Prepare floors for installations. Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Judgement. Organized. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
