Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Outdoors. Tasks: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel. Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings. Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions. Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings. Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems. Repair roofing systems. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools. Install sheet metal flashings. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Roofer Trade Certification. Working at heights training. First Aid Certificate. Rooftop Safety Training. Roofer Red Seal Certificate.
