Overview of Position:
We are searching for a Fabric Installer who will be responsible for completing the installation and assembly of pre-engineered steel fabric buildings. Including the installation of steel frameworks, fabric membranes, and accessories. This position will involve travel to job sites within Canada, with a rotation of 21 days on and 7 off. The successful candidate must have experience with the use of hand tools and power tools, have experience with the installation of steel buildings and have previous construction experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation and assembly of steel components

Knowledge of column placement and building structure

Work on ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms
-
Rigging and hoisting components into position
-
Operate and maintain light duty vehicles
-
Operate and maintain light equipment (Bobcats, forklifts, etc.)

Operating and maintain power tools and equipment
-
Understanding and complying with all Policies and Procedures

Keeping a daily log of tasks

Contributing and participating in the effective use of the Quality Control System

Reading blueprints and detailed specs
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-Year minimum experience in the installation of steel buildings
- Knowledge of building methods, tools, and equipment
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand, power tools, and equipment
- Ability to read building specifications and blueprints
- Ability to layout on typical projects
- Ability to draw appropriate sketches to communicate details to team members, and others.

Work conditions:
Travel: Typical Shift is 21 days on 7 days off rotation (subject to change), ability to lift 50+ lbs., required safety equipment, hazards associated with the trade, work both indoors and outdoors, construction sites, noise, irregular hours.
