Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Farm. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Select livestock for sale. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Perform general farm duties. Area of specialization: Swine. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Employment terms options: Early morning. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Employment terms options: Evening. Flexible hours. Morning. Day. Weekend.
