Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they become serious.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including brakes, transmissions, engines, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working with machinery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and schematics.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are advantageous.
