Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Odours. Work setting: Various locations. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Repair cracks and holes. Mix paint to desired colour and texture. Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls. Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings. Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Estimate costs and materials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Airless spray equipment. Brush painting. Conventional spray painting. Multi-ratio pump spraying. Roller painting. Testing equipment experience: Moisture gauges. Thermometers. Wet micron gauges. Dry micron gauges. Surface preparation experience: Drywall taping/patching. Water/hydroblasting. Steam cleaning. Flame cleaning. Sandblasters. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Coating/application specialization: Fire retardants. Surface gilding. Gas proofing materials. Urethanes. Paint spraying. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
