The Role
As a Supervisor, Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ), you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of EHSQ systems across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement across sites, and overseeing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, along with supporting alignment with ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) frameworks.
This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of 2-3 days onsite per week. As this role will mainly be responsible for our Brampton and Burlington operations, you will be expected to split your onsite days between these two locations on a weekly basis. Collaboration across other DCM's Canadian locations, cross-functionally is also required.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System across multiple sites, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of quality processes
Manage Quality Incident Response (QIR) process and escalations and engage with customers on quality issues and corrective actions, ensuring to track and report quality KPIs and performance trends
Support internal auditor training and capability development
Maintain and improve Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with Canadian legistlation
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive actions to improve workplace safety and reduce risk
Support injury management, ergonomic assessments and claims process and
Monitor safety performance and recommend risk reduction initiatives
Maintain certification compliance, including FSC, MDEL, SGP, and SFI, and support audits across sites for certification requirements
Support alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 best practices
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardize best practices across Canadian sites
Deliver training on EHSQ systems and compliance requirements
Provide reporting and insights on risk and trends to leadership and maintain business continuity and emergency response planning
Skills & Experiences
Post-secondary education in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality, or related field (designation preferred), with 3–5 years working in a manufacturing or multi-site production environment
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required, with familiarity of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 an asset
Understanding of Canadian health & safety and environmental regulations
Experience supporting certification programs such as FSC, SGP, and SFI
Demonstrated experience leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
Knowledge of workers’ compensation and injury management
Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to diverse audiences
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on KPIs, compliance, and continuous improvement

Compensation
$65,149 - $81,436 CAD per year
The compensation range listed reflects the expected compensation for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual skills and experience.
