Position: Senior Platform Engineer – OpenShift Virtualization Location: Hybrid- Toronto, ON Job type: Full-Time/Permanent Hiring

Seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, networking, and virtualization platforms. The role focuses on managing enterprise-scale cluster platforms, automation frameworks, and production-grade infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities Build, manage, and upgrade OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters. Support OpenShift Virtualization and KubeVirt environments. Manage networking, ingress, routing, firewalls, and load balancing. Implement automation using Ansible, scripting, and GitOps practices. Support platform deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure operations. Assist migration from VMware or legacy virtualization platforms.

Must-Have Skills Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. Experience with cluster operations and platform engineering. Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, SDN, routing, firewalls). Hands-on experience with Ansible/AAP, Python/Bash scripting. Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or KubeVirt. Knowledge of GitOps and Infrastructure as Code.
