Our client, recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, is currently looking for an experienced Loader Operator for their warehouse located in Dorval.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods using a seated electric forklift, in an LTL and Cross Dock environment.

The tasks consist of:

-       Operate a sit-down electric forklift in compliance with safety standards.

-       Efficiently unload trailers.

-       Load trailers in accordance with transportation and safety standards while maximizing space utilization. Ensure that pallets are properly secured to prevent shifting or falling during transport.

-       Use a scanner to organize pallets and track inventory movements.

-       Perform palletizing and loading based on cubic volume and weight distribution.

-       Place merchandise in trailers according to established loading procedures.

-       Perform basic maintenance on the forklift.

-       Perform all other related tasks in support of operations.

Requirements:

-       3–4 years of experience operating sit-down electric forklifts (required).

-       2–3 years of experience in an LTL and/or cross-docking environment (mandatory).

-       Experience stacking pallets using load bars.

-       Valid forklift certification (asset).

Salary: $26 per hour.

Opening hours: Evening, from 5 p.m.
