About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Calibration Technician to own and continuously improve our calibration lab. You will calibrate high-precision multi-axis force-torque sensors, develop calibration fixtures, automate testing with Python, troubleshoot electronics, and support the production of cutting-edge robotic systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working across mechanical and electrical systems, and thrives in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the calibration lab, equipment, and processes. Calibrate and validate precision force-torque sensors. Improve calibration methods to increase efficiency and accuracy. Develop Python scripts for test automation and data collection. Design and build calibration fixtures and mechanical assemblies. Troubleshoot sensor electronics and PCBAs. Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and quality documentation. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams. Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, robotics, or high-tech manufacturing. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with Python for automation and data analysis. Experience with Onshape and Altium is an asset. Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as DAQs, DMMs, power supplies, thermocouples, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems. Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with large calibration equipment.
