Role: Quantum Physics Researcher/ Junior Professor (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $80 - $150/hour
Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Physics Expert (Postdoc / Junior professor) to work on a contract basis. The position involves conducting advanced research in physics with applications to [specific domain, e.g., quantum computing, materials science, or theoretical modeling]. Candidates should have expertise in [specific subfield, e.g., condensed matter physics, quantum optics, or computational physics].
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and validate theoretical models to explain physical phenomena or optimize experimental designs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate physics-based solutions into product development or research initiatives. • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals or present results at academic and industry conferences. • Mentor junior researchers or students in physics-related projects and methodologies. • Analyze experimental data to identify trends, validate hypotheses, and propose next steps.
Required Skills & Qualifications: • PhD in Physics or a closely related field, with a focus on [specific subfield, e.g., quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, or statistical mechanics]. • Experience with computational tools such as Python, MATLAB, or COMSOL for modeling and simulation. • Background in experimental physics, including hands-on experience with laboratory equipment or data acquisition systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex physics-based challenges. • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
