About The Role
Our client is seeking an Electrical Revit Technologist to support the delivery of electrical building systems for a variety of projects throughout British Columbia.
Working alongside Engineers and Project Managers, you'll be responsible for developing coordinated Revit models, producing detailed construction drawings, and supporting project teams through the design and documentation process. You'll work closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines to ensure building systems are fully integrated and accurately represented.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, takes pride in producing high-quality documentation, and thrives in a collaborative consulting engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed electrical Revit models and construction documentation Prepare drawing packages for permit, tender, and construction Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines Review models to identify and resolve coordination issues Incorporate design revisions and maintain drawing accuracy throughout project delivery Assist Engineers with project documentation and technical coordination Ensure work is completed in accordance with company BIM standards and project requirements Contribute to multiple projects while meeting established deadlines
Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related discipline 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Revit Technologist within a consulting engineering environment Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit Experience producing electrical construction documentation for building projects Knowledge of Canadian building construction practices and applicable electrical codes Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
