About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Systems, the Production Technician, Systems is responsible to aid in the assembly and testing of epoc® Readers and Hosts
What will you do Assemble and repair epoc® systems Troubleshoot hardware issues Perform equipment change-overs Participate in review for quality control Make adjustments as necessary to fix product within specifications Operate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required Liaises with operators and other departments Clean and maintain work area
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Minimum High School diploma or GED and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience Manual dexterity skills and the ability to assemble products quickly and accurately Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Verbal and written communication skills Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Physicalo Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Extended periods of standing or sittingo Manual dexterityo Ability to differentiate colors
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Technical degree or diploma Previous work experience with soldering and electronics assembly Previous work experience producing or repairing electro-mechanical instruments Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
