About The Role
ARTERNAL CRM is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to be our first dedicated QA hire, playing a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform as we scale. You will work closely with our development team and founders to understand product functionalities and user needs, becoming a product expert. Your primary focus initially will be on testing and quality assurance, but as you grow into the role, you will also contribute to automation, testing processes, and potentially assist with smaller development tasks. We are looking for someone who understands startup dynamics, possesses strong leadership qualities, and has a passion for improving user experience through meticulous testing and innovative approaches. Your work will directly impact our customers and help us deliver a robust, user-friendly product that meets the high standards of the art industry.
Qualifications
Good understanding of QA methodologies and best practices Extreme attention to detail and analytical skills Knowledge of relational databases and SQL skills Hands-on experience testing and debugging web-based applications Experience with load, stress, and performance testing Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Familiarity with agile development processes Experience with automated testing tools and scripting is a plus Understanding of user interface design and improvements is encouraged Bonus: Web development or iOS development experience, including JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, or Swift
Responsibilities
Initially focus on QA activities to familiarize with the product and define test plans Develop and maintain comprehensive test specifications for functional, regression, and performance testing Identify and document clear reproduction steps for issues reported by customers Verify software builds for quality assurance before deployment to production Translate high-level business requirements into detailed test scenarios Conduct service-level testing as needed to ensure system stability Over time, assist with smaller development tasks and become familiar with the codebase Implement and maintain automated test scripts covering core functionalities Collaborate closely with engineering teams to discuss risks and mitigation strategies Contribute to shaping and improving the overall QA process by suggesting best practices and workflow enhancements Lead the QA division as the team grows, helping to automate and optimize testing workflows Participate in team meetings, product reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
