We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Grande Prairie Service team. This

role supports both shop and field service operations, working on frac equipment and related systems at our Grande

Prairie facility and customer locations. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment,

working independently, and being part of a strong service team.

What you’ll be doing
• Complete diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on frac equipment and related systems

• Complete 500-hour inspections and regular maintenance

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, including hose replacements

• Service power end fluid and filters

• Replace engine and transmission coolers + cooling system flushes

• Perform component replacements: engine seals, turbos, heads, cylinder packs, injectors

• Execute major component swaps (engine, transmission, rad bundles)

• Pre- and post-repair run-up testing

• Troubleshoot & repair diesel and dual-fuel engines

• Troubleshoot transmission and hydraulic issues

• Complete accurate documentation including JSAs, service reports, warranty claims, QC records, and timesheets

• Support customer-site service work and represent Collicutt professionally in field environments

• Mentor and support junior technicians as required

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

What you bring:
Required
• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (mandatory) (Millwright or equivalent may also be

considered)

• Experience repairing and maintaining frac equipment and related systems
• Experience with:

o CAT 3512 engines

o Cummins QSK50

o Detroit 60 and MTU engines

o TH48 and TH55 transmissions

• Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience

• Ability to perform internal engine repairs and overhaul work

• Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Experience using OEM diagnostic software and systems (CAT ET, SIS, Cummins Insite, etc.)

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract

• Reliable transportation

Assets
• CVIP license

• Experience with truck and trailer service work
• Ability to work day or night shifts as operationally required
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, Teams)
