About Us
Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position And Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair all gas fired equipment and piping systems Maintenance of all plumbing related equipment Repair high and low pressure steam piping systems. Repair and troubleshoot of heat, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) units Installation and repair of ABS, Copper, HDPE, PVC, and Steel piping systems Ability to work from blueprints and P&ID’s Knowledge of regulatory and code requirements
Education And Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson plumber certification Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson steamfitter/pipefitter certification Valid Saskatchewan General Gasfitter’s License which is required to support the site Employer’s Gas License Minimum of five years of experience as a journeyperson supporting propane distribution operation/maintenance, residential and commercial heating ventilation/air conditioning systems, Steam distribution and heat systems and fire system maintenance Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets
Experience with CMMS such as SAP/S4 HANA Experience with Microsoft Suite programs HRAI ODP/ODS Certification Saskatchewan Cross connection course Emergency First Aid certification
Conditions Of Employment
Pre-employment substance test; and Trade verification.
