We specialize in Facility Condition Assessments (FCA), Building Condition Assessments (BCA), Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I & II), and Construction Project Monitoring. We operate across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, serving commercial real estate, developers, and municipal clients.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Facility Condition Assessor (FCA) / Building Condition Assessor (BCA) with 2–3 years of inspection experience. The role involves conducting detailed field inspections of commercial, institutional, and municipal buildings and preparing condition assessment documentation and reports.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) and Building Condition Assessments (BCA) Perform on-site inspections of building systems and components Assess structural, mechanical, electrical, and building envelope conditions Document site findings, deficiencies, and lifecycle conditions Support the preparation of technical reports and condition assessment deliverables Coordinate and complete site visits across the Edmonton and Calgary regions Ensure accurate and detailed field data collection and reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile: 2–3 years of experience in building inspection, FCA/BCA, or related field work. A candidate with energy audit experience will be preferred. Strong understanding of building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical). Candidate with energy audit experience will be preferred for municipal buildings Strong attention to detail and technical reporting skills Able to work independently in field environments Strong communication skills Valid driver’s license required
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction, Diploma in Architecture, Power Engineer or related field preferred
