Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Master Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom tailoring, excellent craftsmanship, and a passion for delivering high-quality garments. The Master Tailor will oversee the tailoring process from start to finish, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and fit.

Duties

• Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring specifications
• Cut fabric according to patterns and client measurements
• Sew, alter, and customize garments with precision and attention to detail
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and proper fit
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on styles and fabrics
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Train and supervise junior tailors or apprentices as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools are properly maintained

Skills

• Proven experience as a tailor or master tailor with a strong portfolio of work
• Excellent craftsmanship with attention to detail
• Basic math skills for measurements, pattern adjustments, and calculations
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
• Knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and tailoring equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to client requests or fabric challenges
