Position Summary

The Collision Centre Supervisor (Working) leads by example on the shop floor, combining hands-on collision repair with day-to-day production leadership, quality control, and team support. You will be responsible for dispatching work, supporting repair planning and blueprinting, performing complex repairs, and executing quality inspections, while working closely with estimators, parts, paint, and production teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You Will Be Doing

Leading daily shop operations and dispatching work based on technician skills and shop capacity Performing advanced auto body repairs including structural, cosmetic, and fit & finish work Supporting blueprinting, teardown, and damage analysis Monitoring cycle time, touch time, on-time delivery, and repair quality (KPIs) Conducting stage-gate quality inspections (post teardown, pre-paint, final delivery) Ensuring all repairs meet OEM repair procedures and certification standards Coaching and mentoring technicians to improve efficiency, safety, and first-time quality Coordinating with estimators, parts, and paint teams to minimize delays Managing supplements, repair documentation, and estimating systems (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex) Overseeing equipment readiness including welders, frame machines, and ADAS tools Coordinating sublets such as alignments, glass, and ADAS calibrations Maintaining a safe work environment, including PPE compliance and shop standards Identifying opportunities for process improvements (lean, 5S, continuous improvement)

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in collision repair / auto body / body shop environments Experience as a Lead Technician, Auto Body Supervisor, or Shop Foreman is an asset Strong knowledge of collision repair, structural repairs, welding, refinishing, and OEM procedures Experience with blueprinting, repair planning, and quality control processes Familiarity with estimating platforms such as CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex Ability to lead, coach, and support a team in a fast-paced collision centre Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills Working knowledge of shop safety, compliance, and hazardous materials handling ICAR / I-CAR certifications, Red Seal (310B), or OEM certifications are considered assets Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
