POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a vital member of our operations team, the Traffic Planner will be responsible for designing traffic accommodation strategies and plans for projects scaling from simple one-lane temporary road closures to large-scale highway traffic diversions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret construction drawings and specifications from customers

Prepare work plans and packages as required

Create traffic plans using RapidPlan and/or AutoCAD

Create traffic accommodation strategies and technical reports for customers

Provide field support to the operational team for questions regarding traffic plans or strategies

Review and analyze data relative to the project

Complete plans and perform specification reviews for projects

Support and assist the sales team with preparation of tenders or bids for work
QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferably, undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related degree

2-5 years previous experience working in infrastructure or heavy civil projects or road safety projects

Previous experience with design and drafting software; preferably RapidPlan or AutoCAD

Preferably, experience in SAP

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Team player with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines, goals, and objectives
HOURS OF WORK:
Daily schedule may vary depending upon operational needs. However, general office hours would be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
