Senior Music Transcriber MIDI & Notation

Type: Contract
Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours
Pay: $55 $110/hr
What You'll Be Doing
Transcribe full mixes and provided stems into accurate multi-track MIDI, capturing pitch, onset, duration, velocity, and polyphony across all instruments Follow a consistent MIDI specification including quantization, tempo mapping, drum mapping, and pitch bends Identify and document underlying harmony, key signatures, modulations, and voice leading as symbolic ground truth Deliver clean, instrument-separated MIDI tracks aligned precisely to source audio
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in professional music transcription or notation session work, arranging, engraving, or equivalent Strong experience in a DAW or notation tool (Logic, Cubase, Reaper, Pro Tools, Sibelius, MuseScore, or similar) Strong experience transcribing polyphonic, multi-instrument material accurately by ear Strong experience applying music theory harmony, voice leading, and rhythmic precision in a production or notation context
