This role will be responsible for using electronic surveying equipment to survey land and establish boundaries, layouts and elevations. Reporting to: Superintendent(s) Duties and Responsibilities: Shoot coordinates / lines for site works Utilize GPS and Topcon equipment for surveying activities Comprehend blueprint readings to prepare layouts and do as-builts of the following, but not limited to excavation limits for shallow foundations, concrete pour heights, concrete/foundation corners, concrete embeds and anchors, and underground piping locations Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Other duties as required. Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner. Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures. Skills and Knowledge: A strong aptitude for mathematics and computers The ability to visualize objects, distances, sizes, and other abstract forms The ability to work outdoors with precise electronic surveying instruments Analytical and organizational skills The ability to work effectively in a team environment Good communication skills Qualifications: Experience working in commercial/industrial construction is considered an asset.
