We partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. Now we're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help us teach AI how security, compliance, and risk management actually work in the real world.
Your practitioner knowledge — the kind earned through real audits, policy reviews, and control assessments — is exactly what's needed to make AI smarter and more reliable in this domain. This isn't a typical compliance role. It's a chance to directly shape how frontier AI systems understand and reason about governance and risk.
Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness Evaluate compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation Generate and validate high-quality training and evaluation data for AI systems Apply your real-world GRC experience to judge nuanced, scenario-based questions
Who You Are
2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar Comfortable reading and interpreting security policies, audit reports, and control documentation Detail-oriented with precise, structured written reasoning Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous tasks
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows Background in information security, IT audit, or third-party risk management Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CISM
