Annual salary: $ 131,100.00 - 165,800.00
What you'll do
The Asset Performance Planning team establishes asset strategies and preventive maintenance plans for managing
generating stations assets to meet power system and organizational objectives.
Asset Performance Planners play a key role in the evolution and sustainment of the generating stations asset management
system, with a focus on managing the performance of the assets during their usable life.
The team’s core accountabilities include:

Asset Performance Management Strategies and Plans
-
Asset Management Data Governance and Performance Reporting
-
Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program Optimization, Deployment, and Sustainment
-
Develop, and sustain strategies, standards, and plans for managing generating stations assets to meet power system and
organizational objectives.
- Play a key role in the evolution and sustainment of the generating stations asset management system, with a focus on
managing the performance of the assets during their usable life.
- Work closely with Engineering and external consultants to ensure compliance with the EGBC Quality Management
Guidelines and other regulatory obligations.

Support Optimization, and Sustainment of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Spare Parts Programs.

Support Asset Management Data Governance and Performance Reporting - Serve as the Professional of Record for
Maintenance Standards and Maintenance Program documentation when required.
- Advance strategies or projects by working in collaboration with other departments such as Engineering subject matter
experts, Field Maintenance Engineers, Asset Managers, Project managers, Asset Information Support, IT and Operations.
Specifically, the FTR will be tasked with activities previously assigned to this role, such as crane and below-the-hook lifting
device regulatory compliance activities, and spare parts strategy.
- Lead cross-organizational coordination with Dam Safety, Telecom, and NIA PCM and other business groups on Wildfire
strategy implementation.
This includes advancing key parts of Wildfire Strategy including vegetation strategies, site risk assessments, structural
protection contracts, fire safety plans, and emergency action plans and reporting to reduce ignition risk and improve asset
resilience.
What you bring
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant and progressive engineering and asset management experience. Candidates with
less experience may be considered at a corresponding position level.
Applicants who do not meet the full qualifications or those with lesser work experience may be considered for a lower level
position.

Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering which is recognized by Canadian universities.

Registered or eligible to register as a P.Eng. with the Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (EGBC).
** For this role we are ideally seeking someone with experience with G-Stations maintenance programs, G-Stations field
experience, strategic thinking, and asset planning. **
- Good relationship management, communication, and conflict management skills with an ability to work in collaboration
with other departments to advance strategies or projects.

Strong understanding of the fundamentals of Maintenance Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and Asset Management.

Familiarity with Hydro Generation Equipment.

Must have strong skills with MS Office tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following skills and experience:

Experience with Generation Stations maintenance programs and spare parts process.

Experience with Generation stations field experience.

Experience with risk and value-based business planning.

Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to think strategically.

Excellent organizational and management skills.

Demonstrated Leadership skills.
