Your main responsibilities Apply, promote, and strictly adhere to Englobe's health and safety policies on all project sites and work locations; Perform environmental fieldwork, including sampling of groundwater, surface water, potable water, and sediments; Coordinate and carry out environmental drilling and test pit programs, including geotechnical and integrated geo-environmental fieldwork; Document field activities, compile data, and prepare technical reports using established templates; Prepare laboratory chains of custody, maintain detailed field records, and coordinate sample submissions to laboratories; Manage, maintain, and operate field equipment, including calibration, charging, and routine maintenance; Apply regulatory requirements and guidelines related to excess soils, contaminated sites, and environmental compliance; Support project execution through required administrative tasks, including timesheet completion. What makes you unique Hold post-secondary education in Environmental Sciences, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience); Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant environmental field experience; Be eligible to obtain Federal Government security clearance; active Reliability or Secret clearance is considered a strong asset; Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements in field environments; Demonstrated experience in professional reports writing; Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable personal vehicle; Be available to work in outdoor field environments year-round, with flexibility for schedule changes, travel, and occasional overtime; Travel locally and, as required, provincially or nationally to urban and remote project sites. The salary range for this position is $66,182 to $86,864 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.
