Looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Machinery Mechanic to join our Crew

Full time position - Monday to Friday ( Option to work on Saturdays)

Starting wage is 25$ an hour with the ability to grow!

*Duties will include: *

Inspecting bulldozers, excavators, rock trucks and other heavy construction equipment for proper performance, and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers? specifications
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
Service attachments and working tools such as blades, ploughs, winches and side booms
May perform repair work on heavy trucks

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) year of directly related experience regarding the following:

Strong Understanding in:
Diesel Engines and all components
Heavy duty Truck Steering, Suspension, Brake, & Transmission Systems
Hydraulic Systems (Repair/change worn or failed hoses)
Electrical repairs
Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g. hand and power tools, etc.)
Ability to handle 100 lbs of weight
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Satisfactory health, attendance and former employment history.
Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, with a clean drivers abstract
