Tasks
Operate electronic equipment that transmits video conferencing or multimedia presentations Operate audio consoles or computers, tape machines, microphones and sound processing equipment at concerts and live events Operate audio-visual or electronic equipment Prepare and operate videotape recording and playback equipment and edit video tape after production Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems Set up, operate and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment Set up and dismantle equipment Perform preventive maintenance Operate audio-visual equipment Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Assist with installation of audiovisual equipment and help in resolving problems during use Perform minor repairs on installations and routine maintenance of audiovisual equipment
