  • Manage or contribute to project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting proposals and technical approaches
  • Oversee or participate in site investigations, construction quality assurance (CQA), and field monitoring programs
  • Mentor and guide junior and intermediate engineers, strengthening team capability and knowledge sharing

THE SKILLS THAT SET YOU APART

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
  • 8–12+ years of experience in mine waste, tailings, or related geotechnical engineering roles
  • Demonstrated experience with tailings dams, waste rock piles, heap leach pads, or similar facilities
  • Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks and dam safety guidelines
  • Proficiency with geotechnical analysis software such as GeoStudio, PLAXIS, FLAC, or equivalent
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience supporting or acting in a deputy Engineer of Record capacity is an asset
