About the role
We are a growing company and looking for someone with HVAC experience to help us deliver high quality installations and services for our customers. The scope our work typically involves service calls, repairs, refrigerant piping, gas piping, controls, sheet metal, electrical, job planning. For the right interested candidate it could also include organizing a team, estimating jobs, designing systems, air balancing, commissioning, sales and other activities.
We are seeking a candidate for this position with prior HVAC experience. If you are a journeyman or high functioning apprentice this could be a great opportunity for you. We believe in helping our people build successful careers and providing continual advancement in their roles.
We also set our schedules with input from our team. Most of our team currently works 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday to get 3 day weekends and this would be an option for you as well.
The current focus of the company is the installation of heat pumps in retrofit, renovation and new build projects.
Duties include:
- System Layout
- Installation Planning
- Hoisting, rigging, placing and fastening of equipment.
- Drilling, cutting and sealing of building envelopes and interiors
- Refrigeration Piping (various methods)
- Electrical and controls
- Sheet Metal: demo, layout, fabrication, installation and field modification
- System programming, setup and commissioning
- Air balancing
- Service and Maintenance

This position comes with an opportunity to obtain a Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification as well as electrical and gas certifications. For those who already at a journeyman level other additional tickets and credentials are available.

Pay: $27.00-$65.00 per hour
