Our small engineering firm located in downtown New Westminster is looking for an experienced structural engineer with a background in temporary works. Responsibilities: • Produce drawings and calculations for temporary works including but not limited to formwork, shoring, falsework and scaffolding. • Ability to review peer drawings prior to approval by Principal Engineer and to ensure compliance with engineering standards. • Perform site visits as needed. • Mentor junior designers. Requirements: • Minimum 4+ years experience with temporary works. • Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, RFEM, RSTAB, Tekla, etc. • P.Eng. preferred, however, E.I.T registered with EGBC will be considered. • Good communication and leadership skills. Compensation: Base compensation starts from 70k+ with a comprehensive medical benefits package and generous vacation leave.
