Position Summary Norelco Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinetry Data Entry & Programmer to support our Hawaii Division. This position is responsible for reviewing approved cabinetry drawings, entering project information into company systems, programming cabinetry projects for manufacturing, and ensuring all production information is accurate, complete, and ready for release. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting project execution by translating approved designs into manufacturing-ready data while maintaining accuracy throughout the production process. This is a highly technical role requiring direct experience in the cabinetry industry. Applicants must have previous cabinetry programming and data entry experience. Candidates without cabinetry experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Cabinetry Data Entry Input cabinet specifications, materials, hardware, finishes, and project details accurately. Enter and maintain project information within cabinetry manufacturing software. Generate production-ready information based on approved drawings and specifications. Review programmed projects for accuracy before release to production. Maintain project records and update information as revisions are issued. Ensure all project data aligns with approved shop drawings and specifications. Manage project documentation and revision control.
Drawing Review & Project Support Interpret architectural, design, and cabinetry drawings. Review approved shop drawings and specifications for completeness. Communicate discrepancies, missing information, or concerns to the appropriate team members. Work closely with design, project management, purchasing, and production teams to ensure project accuracy.
Quality Control Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, finishes, and hardware. Perform details review of project information prior to production release. Minimize manufacturing errors through proactive verification and problem-solving. Maintain consistency with company standards and procedures.
Continuous Improvement Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Assist in developing and maintaining programming and data entry standards. Support department initiatives focused on quality and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications Mandatory Requirements Minimum 1 year of cabinetry programming and/or cabinetry data entry experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in the cabinetry industry. Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes. Experience reviewing and interpreting cabinetry shop drawings. Experience working with cabinetry manufacturing software. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Technical Skills Experience with one or more of the following: Cabinet Vision inSight Technologies Microvellum Mozaik 2020 Design Similar cabinetry engineering or manufacturing software
Proficiency with: Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Excel Microsoft Teams ERP or manufacturing software systems
Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-family or hospitality projects. Experience with custom residential cabinetry. Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and production processes. Experience working with remote teams. Understanding of material optimization and production efficiencies. Experience programming CNC manufacturing equipment.
