About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Selling Partner Services organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing sophisticated tools and systems that support Amazon’s seller ecosystem and consumer business. Your work will involve analyzing large datasets, designing scalable architectures, and creating innovative solutions that improve business efficiency and decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment, directly impacting Amazon’s growth and profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into high-quality, reliable software solutions. As part of our team, you will also have the chance to mentor peers, influence technical standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in agile software development methodologies Proficiency with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js Experience in designing and developing scalable software solutions Strong understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and reliability Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with diverse teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design, and working software solutions by collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders Design, develop, and implement software products that influence multiple areas of the business Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and system testing Ensure end-to-end ownership of code quality, including functional testing, system testing, and integration validation Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and within scope Maintain responsibility for system architecture, scalability, reliability, and overall performance Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to a positive technical culture
