About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Foreman for our Parks & Public Spaces division.
The right person has at least 5 years of experience building and managing parks and public space project sites for municipal and private commercial clients. You’ve already been doing this kind of work at a high level and have the experience, skill set, and site leadership this role requires. You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day work on site. That means keeping the crew focused, the work organized, and the finished product up to the level we expect. The standards are high so we’re looking for the right person. Someone who wants to be here long-term and play a key role in helping Three Seasons grow.
You’re driven. No one has to motivate you to strive for excellence. You work hard and smart. You know the difference between a long day that’s not efficient, and a shorter day where the right work actually got done. You know how to read construction drawings. Grading layouts, site layouts, elevations, details—you understand what you’re looking at and know how to translate it on site. You’re resourceful. Most of the time you already know the answer to a project question. When you don’t, you know how to find it and take the initiative to do so. You’re obsessed with details. Especially the ones that really matter in municipal work: site access cleaned up at the end of the day, fences buttoned up, playgrounds free of debris, and the small things that keep key stakeholders and neighbours happy. You know how to lead and delegate. You can turn weekly goals into clear daily plans for the crew. And when site conditions or sequencing change the plan, you know how to pivot without getting rattled. You have a strong radar for potential issues. You’re quick to identify challenges and just as quick to come up with practical solutions. You’re skilled. You have plenty of experience operating heavy machinery such as track skid steers, loaders, and excavators, and you’re comfortable loading materials and floating machines when the job calls for it. You communicate clearly and consistently. You understand the value of daily updates and lean toward overcommunication. You’re a great team player. You’re willing to work alongside Project managers and take part in site meetings.
If that’s you, you’re probably excited to read this posting and we want to meet you. We know the level of person we’re asking for, and the role will reflect that. Salary: flexible for the right person High-end company vehicle RRSP matching Vacation and additional perks to be discussed with the right individual
If this sounds like the kind of site you know how to run, we’d like to hear from you.
