Electromechanic Technician
About the role
We are looking for detail-oriented and committed employees who consistently deliver impeccable work at every stage of the manufacturing process. Electrical assembly and installation (85%): Assemble and install various electrical components based on the current configuration. Perform full wiring and electrical connections inside the vans. Work in collaboration with different teams (cabinet makers, assemblers, body builders) to coordinate tasks. Perform quality control and commissioning tests. Preparation of sub-assemblies (15%): Participate in the preparation of sub-assemblies dedicated to van construction. (May be required to perform plumbing or woodworking tasks.) Other tasks and responsibilities: Participate in various after-sales service projects (troubleshooting, electrical system upgrades, etc.). Demonstrate initiative and propose new solutions. Communicate any blocking issues to the production supervisor. Complete van conversions according to the established configuration. Perform tasks with diligence and precision. Ensure deadlines for van deliveries are met. Maintain a clean and organized workshop in compliance with CNESST standards.
Profil Required Skills: Recognized vocational training or practical experience in electrical panel assembly. Experience in an industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret plans and schematics. Strong analytical skills. Good manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ambitious, autonomous, and results-driven with a sense of urgency. Energetic.
