What You’ll Do

As a Working Lead Hand, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.

Your Day-to-day

Ensure a safe work environment and promote compliance with all health and safety standards Supervise and support employees in producing high-quality finished products efficiently Plan, assign, and coordinate work based on production schedulesMonitor production output and quality standards, making adjustments as needed Maintain compliance with BRCGS procedures, including equipment, processes, and documentationSubmit detailed daily reports at the end of each shift Build strong employee relations by modeling professionalism, accountability, and teamworkIdentify and escalate production or employee concerns in a timely manner Participate in and support Joint Health & Safety Committee initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Your strengths as a Working Lead Hand

You Are a Natural Fit For This Role If

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and guide teams Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with employees and management Minimum of 5 years’ of manufacturing experience in Ontario, with at least 3 years in a Machine Operator or Lead Hand role. Knowledge of health and safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to drive engagement and gain buy-in for continuous improvement initiatives
