Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a full-time Facilities & 5S Coordinator to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers. Position Details: • Vacancy Type: Existing Vacancy • Compensation: $25.00-29.00 / per hour Primary Responsibilities: • Complete minor repairs including painting, carpentry, light plumbing, and fixture replacements. • Install and repair items such as blinds, signage, whiteboards, clocks, and safety postings. • Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, baseboards, and other general building components. • Maintain office spaces, hallways, lunchrooms, and common areas in good condition. • Assemble and install desks, chairs, shelving, and other furniture as directed by HR or department leaders. • Complete painting, touch-ups, and minor cosmetic improvements to office, common areas, and building spaces. • Support space reconfigurations and HR-led improvement projects across the building. • Support the CI Supervisor and production team in all 5S activities: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. • Participate in and support production deep cleans and SOC (Source of Contamination) elimination efforts. • Assist with setup and teardown for company events, training sessions, and meetings. • Coordinate minor facility-related items with external vendors as required (locks, doors, security systems). • Maintain a structured task list and communicate regularly with the CI Supervisor on work progress. • Other projects as assigned. Shift: • Day Shift Rewards: • Incentive plan • Annual Footwear allowance Requirements: • General maintenance or handyperson experience in a facility, manufacturing, or trades environment. • WHMIS 2015 certification (within 3 years) or willingness to obtain. • Basic Health & Safety awareness training. • 5S / Lean training is considered an asset. • Familiarity with a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset. • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a varied workload independently. Working Conditions: We strive to help our team members maintain a positive balance between life and work. This position involves frequent movement throughout the facility including office, warehouse, and production environments. Physical work is required including lifting, carrying, assembling, and minor repair tasks. This position has daily exposure to a food processing environment which includes dampness and cold.
