United Electrical Systems is looking to hire a journey-person electrician. We are offering stable and consistent full time employment for motivated individuals. Established in 1993, the company has focused on commercial projects (retail, institutional, restaurants, offices) both new tenant improvements and renovations. At any time we have multiple projects ranging from a few days in duration of work to several weeks or months. This is a tool oriented position with the goal or developing and training employees to learn new skills. Our projects are located throughout Metro Vancouver and willingness to work in various municipalities and locations is required.

Suitable applicants should:

• be reliable, punctual, responsible and able to work 40+ hours a week
• have valid drivers license and reliable transportation (company vehicle could be available in the long term)
• experience with AC90, conduit, distribution, fire alarm, lighting, low voltage controls
• be able to work in small groups with 1 to 5 other individuals including apprentices
• have their red seal
• be prepared to move in and out of jobs and be flexible with quick project turnover and changes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44.00-$47.00 per hour

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
