Responsibilities:

-       Read and interpret architectural plans to produce accurate designs aligned with client needs.

-       Design and model furniture and complete layouts in 3D using SolidWorks and S Wood.

-       Create realistic renderings and visual presentations to support client projects.

-       Develop technical drawings and detailed production plans.

-       Generate bills of materials (BOM) and technical documentation required for production.

-       Optimize designs to facilitate manufacturing while respecting cost and timeline constraints.

-       Work closely with sales, project management, and production teams.

-       Propose technical solutions adapted to workshop and on-site realities.

-       Make necessary revisions to drawings to ensure a compliant and functional final product.

-       Maintain up-to-date technical files and drawing revisions.

-       Participate in the continuous improvement of design methods and component libraries.

-       Ensure all projects meet company standards for quality, ergonomics, and safety.

-       Perform any other related duties.

Requirements:

-       Significant experience in 3D design of commercial or custom furniture.

-       Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (essential).

-       Experience with S Wood or equivalent furniture design software (strong asset).

-       Good understanding of materials (wood, melamine, laminate, hardware).

-       Ability to produce accurate technical drawings suitable for manufacturing.

-       Strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans.

-       High level of precision and attention to detail.

-       Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-       Good understanding of production constraints (machining, assembly, manufacturing).

-       Strong analytical skills and ability to propose effective technical solutions.

Salary: $25 to $27 per hour.

Schedule: Day shift, 40 hours per week, permanent.

Status: Permanent.
