This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The person in this role works at various levels to maintain and improve quality standards on the production lines for electro-mechanical equipment and accessories. This includes inspection, analysis, and verification of the compliance of manufacturing processes and products with established quality standards, as well as documenting non-conformities and implementing corrective actions. As a Quality Technician, you must be able to Production line support: Support operators when quality issues or blockers are identified. Perform regular inspections on production lines to verify product compliance with technical specifications and established quality standards. Non-conformity management: Identify non-conforming products or materials, including assembly errors and deviations from quality standards. Accurately prepare non-conformity reports (NCRs), detailing the discrepancies observed, including photos if necessary, and using the appropriate tracking tools. Be responsible for inspecting finished products, semi-finished products, work-in-progress, as well as raw materials, to ensure they meet specifications. Continuous improvement: Collaborate with the teams in place to determine the root causes of non-conformities and propose solutions to resolve and prevent them. Participate in the implementation of corrective actions to resolve identified non-conformities, following established procedures and ensuring validation of the effectiveness of corrective actions. Training and awareness: Provide support to production team members on quality standards and best practices to minimize non-conformities. What makes you an asset to our team College diploma (D.E.C.) or technical diploma in electronics, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. Five or more years of relevant experience. Previous experience in a quality control role or as a production technician, preferably in the electronic manufacturing industry. Practical knowledge of quality tools such as Pareto charts, the 5 Whys, and corrective action plans. In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and associated quality standards. Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform visual and functional inspections. Problem-solving skills and root cause analysis abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately document non-conformities. Intermediate English, spoken and written. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail, teamwork, ability to simplify methods and concepts, autonomy, versatility, and flexibility. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
