Hourly Rate: $ 40.55
What you'll do
- A Journeyperson Automotive and Heavy Vehicle Partsperson identifies automotive parts and supplies, issues automotive
supplies, parts and shop tools

Accepts and records deliveries of materials and maintains the stock room

Arranges for shipping of materials, prepares way bills, delivery slips and other records

May be required to pick up or deliver parts and operate a forklift
What you bring

As per IBEW Collective Agreement.

Must have completed a recognized Automotive Partsperson Course

Completion of an Automotive Parts Technician Trades Qualification (TQ)

Interpersonal skills in dealing with employees as well as internal and external customers are an essential factor in the
selection process

What else you should know
This position is affiliated with the international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union (IBEW local 258) www.ibew258.bc.
ca

Travel may be required to support coverage needs and deliver training across the department.

Position may be required to rotate shifts in accordance with Article 62.3 (a) of the IBEW Collective Agreement.

Shifts are 7:30am to 3:30pm and 4:00pm to 12:00am

This position will be required to work afternoon shifts on a rotational basis with some work out of other Fleet headquarters.

A valid forklift operator certificate would be an asset
