Burlington, ON (Onsite) Up to $120,000 CAD + Benefits Full-Time | Permanent
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Process / Applications Engineer in Burlington, Ontario. This is a permanent onsite role with our customer, a global manufacturer specializing in water, wastewater, and chemical processing systems.
Our customer designs and builds turnkey treatment solutions used worldwide, supporting both developed and developing regions with potable water, wastewater treatment, and process water systems. With 2,000+ installations globally, their systems are built for reliability and advanced automation using PLC and SCADA technologies.
Responsibilities Review RFQs and RFPs and support technical proposal development Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and technical documentation Support process design for water and wastewater treatment systems Perform equipment sizing, calculations, and hydraulic analysis Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and system schematics Work with Project Managers during project execution Evaluate water and wastewater chemistry and recommend treatment solutions Assist with system design involving RO, UF, NF, MBRs, and SBRs Support commissioning plans, QA documentation, and system startup
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering 3–5 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment engineering Knowledge of physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes Experience with process design, system calculations, and equipment selection Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid G driver’s license
