Role Description The CEDO/Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Grande Prairie, AB. In this role, the team member supports certified NDT technicians in performing inspections on equipment and structures across industries such as oil and gas, pipelines, and construction. Daily responsibilities include assisting with the setup and operation of NDT equipment, collecting inspection exposures, and ensuring that applicable safety standards are adhered to. The role also involves ongoing training, adherence to company quality systems, and active participation in safety programs and field practices.

Qualifications Foundational knowledge or training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is an asset (although not required). Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with industry codes and company standards in field and shop environments. Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with colleagues, supervisors, and clients. Good physical fitness and willingness to work in field conditions, including travel to client sites, varying weather, and extended shifts when required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to meet site access requirements (e.g., pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, safety certifications) where applicable. Motivation to learn, obtain or maintain applicable tickets/certifications and build a long-term career in inspection services
