Waterfront Park Vet Clinic is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Veterinary Technician (RVT/VT) to join our team.

About Us
We are a moderate- to high-volume clinic with a diverse caseload and multiple procedures performed daily. Our hospital is fully equipped to provide high-quality medical care, including:
- Comprehensive in-house diagnostics
- (CBC, Chemistry, Urinalysis, IN-VUE, Coagulation testing)
- Digital X-rays
- Ultrasound
- A highly skilled and supportive veterinary support team
- We are also proudly Fear Free-minded
, striving to minimize fear, anxiety, and stress for our patients while creating positive experiences for pets and their families. Fear Free Certification is preferred, but we are happy to support and provide training for the right candidate.
What You?ll Do
As an important member of our medical team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Confidently and independently collecting patient samples, including blood and urine samples without supervision
- Performing laboratory diagnostics including bloodwork and urinalysis
- Preparing patients for surgery, including anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitoring hospitalized patients and patient comfort
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Educating pet owners on preventive care, treatments, and nutrition
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment
What We?re Looking For
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program is preferred.
- RVT/VT certification or licensure (where applicable) or equivalent education.
- Comfortable working independently and confidently in a clinical environment
- Strong technical and laboratory skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate attitude toward animals and their people
- A positive team mindset and, ideally, a sense of humor ? because veterinary medicine is always better when we can support and laugh together!
