Tasks
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Measure and mark sheet metal according to template Supervise other workers Cut materials using power tools or by hand Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment Fit and join sheet metal parts Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Install sheet metal flashings Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
