About the role

Position Summary The Structures Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft sheet metal components, composite structures, and hydraulic systems. This position requires performing and documenting all work in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and customer requirements. Essential Functions Perform all maintenance in accordance with FAA-approved data and established standards of workmanship. Maintain safety of flight as the highest priority while producing an airworthy aircraft. Accurately and legibly complete all required company forms and aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with company, customer, and FAA requirements. Ensure the correct tools are used for each task and verify that all tooling is serviceable and properly calibrated. Locate, interpret, and apply the appropriate technical data while performing maintenance. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area for personnel and aircraft. Follow all required safety procedures, including the proper use of hearing protection, eye protection, fall protection, and safe handling of chemicals, engines, and propellers. Maintain a Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free work environment. Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies. Participate in on-the-job training as required. Observe all company personnel policies and attendance requirements. This is a safety-sensitive position. Employees must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and perform their duties safely at all times. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) training with an emphasis on Structures and Composites. 5–10 years of experience performing aircraft structural and composite repairs. Previous aircraft maintenance experience required. Experience working on turboprop aircraft is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
