Our Ideal Candidate:
Allnorth is seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians for a Central Alberta industrial shutdown project. As a successful applicant, you will be part of a professional team committed to maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety during a fast-paced shutdown scope.
Key Details:
- Shift: 6 days on / 1 day off
- LOA: Provided for eligible non-local workers
- Project Type: Industrial electrical shutdown scope
- Location: Central Alberta
A Day in the Life:
Execute electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and shutdown-related work in an industrial environment
Collaborate with site supervision and the project team to ensure shutdown work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to specification
Adhere to Allnorth's safety standards, client site requirements, and environmental practices
Participate in pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and daily safety meetings
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Journeyman Electrician Certificate
- Registered with the applicable Apprenticeship Board
- Proven experience in industrial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation techniques in an industrial setting
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems
- Own electrical hand tools
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to site safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to the project site or designated muster point

- Journeyman rate: $49.00 per hour
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day and on weekends
